MansionBet has teamed up with George Groves, the WBA super-middleweight champion, ahead of his much-anticipated title fight against Chris Eubank Jnr.

Working in partnership with sports advertising agency Project11, Mansion has agreed a deal to have branding for its new sports betting venture on display during the February 17 bout.

Despite previous sporting projects, this deal will be Mansion’s first major venture into boxing.

Branching Out into Betting and Boxing

The company’s casino brand has been associated with football for more than a decade. In 2006, the operator signed a four-year shirt sponsorship deal with Tottenham Hotspur before linking up with Manchester City to become the club’s international betting partner.

In 2015, Mansion increased its ties with the Premier League by sponsoring AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace. The latest deal with Groves comes just days after the February 1 launch of Mansion’s sports betting platform, MansionBet.

“It is with great excitement that we expand our support of the UK sports industry with a move into boxing sponsorship. This opportunity has come at the perfect time, as we look to introduce our impressive new sportsbook, MansionBet, to a like-minded audience of keen sports fans,” Karel Manasco, CEO of Mansion, said in a February 13 press release.

In addition to exposure during the Groves vs. Eubank clash on February 17, MansionBet logos will also be visible during Lee Selby and Josh Warrington’s title fight. Scheduled to take place at Leeds United’s Elland Road on May 19, the featherweight contest is one of the division’s most anticipated showdowns.

Brand Going from Strength to Strength

Away from the boxing world, the Mansion brand has enjoyed a positive few months. Thanks to its flagship sites such as, the company was named Online Casino Operator of the Year at the International Gaming Awards 2018.

Wanting to build on the reputation its built up in the casino sector since 2003, Mansion will now be looking to increase its profile in the sports betting arena. To support its efforts, MansionBet will be running its service through established software supplier SBTech and its preparatory platform, Chameleon360.

“Our goal is to offer a market-leading sports product with an emphasis on cross-selling, and SBTech’s expertise in this area, in addition to the scalability of its solution, made it the clear choice,” CEO Manasco said of Mansion’s new sports betting asset.
