Poker Ride is a relatively new version of five-card poker that combines several new rules with a progressive jackpot in order to create an exciting online casino game. Derived from Let It Ride, Poker Ride offers players an extra incentive: lucrative progressive payouts.

Like all online poker games, Poker Ride requires both skill and luck. Strategy plays an important role in this five-card game, so practicing is always recommended as you aim to take out the ultimate jackpot.

Before you even begin the game, you will notice that there are four betting circles that you will make use of over the course of each round: Ante, 1, 2, and Jackpot. The Jackpot circle is a sidebet that may be made if you wish to go for the progressive.

There are three rounds in a game of Poker Ride. As the betting circles imply, the initial round is the Ante round; this is a wager that you make before you receive any cards. Once you have made your Ante bet, you will be dealt three cards face up, while the dealer is handed two cards face down.

The next round of betting allows you to either Call or Raise.

If you choose to Call, your bet will stay the same and the game continues. If you Raise, a wager equal to your original stake will be added to the "1" betting circle.

After this, one of the dealer's cards is turned over and becomes your fourth card.

The following betting round is a repeat of the previous, allowing you to Call or Raise as you see fit. Once again, at the end of this round the dealer will turn over what will be your fifth and final card.

To qualify for a payout in Poker Ride you must first qualify. A pair of tens is the minimum hand to earn any sort of winning in Poker Ride, and there are subsequent payouts for every other poker hand. To win part or all of the progressive, you need to have made the Jackpot bet before your hand began, and have a Flush or higher.
