SEGA to launch Online Casino and Poker Room

Iconic console and game developer SEGA is planning to launch a new online casino and poker room. Coming in October 2009, the casino and poker room will feature their proprietary brands, such as Sonic the Hedgehog.
SEGA would be a formidable entry to the world of online casinos and poker. They have a wide range of characters, that a lot of people grew up with in the 1990s, that would be perfect for online casino game themes. Plus, SEGA has considerable experience both in technology and multi-media gaming.
There are no details yet about the exact make up of the casino games that will be on offer but considering the popularity of other branded games, such as the Marvel slots, we can probably expect SEGA themed games to be popular as well.
